We hope this newsletter finds you well. We are pleased to share we are spending Thanksgiving in Haiti with ten enthusiastic volunteers. This dedicated group includes Anthony and Kelsey Caforio, Mary Lynn Korn; Xavier College Preparatory freshmen, Isabelle Butura, Ava Ryan, and Hannah Goldberg; St. Francis Xavier seventh grader, Olivia Goldberg; Brophy College Preparatory junior, Alexander Butura, and Lori and Seth Goldberg.
Our trip will include spending time at our children's home, working on our future medical clinic, visiting the elderly at Bon Samaritan, and with our continued efforts, bringing Project Dignity to life.
FIVE THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT GFP 1. Our organization operates independently of any political, military or religious agendas. We, do however, believe in collaboration and work with like-minded and faith-based organizations working to help the poor.2. We're a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. 3. We believe in giving a hand up, not just a hand out. Our ultimate goal is for our projects to be self-sustaining. 4. We focus our efforts on helping children and families living in poverty.
